Wai Technologies is migrating more than 5 TB of client tax documents from CCH Axcess Document and three other sources to SharePoint Online for a US CPA and advisory firm. The engagement combines a hub-and-spoke SharePoint architecture, an accelerated API-to-SPMT migration pipeline and an AI metadata agent on Azure AI Foundry, so every document lands secured, classified and searchable.

THE CHALLENGE
A legacy document system at end of life, and a structure out of room.
CCH Axcess Document is being decommissioned, so every client file has to move to SharePoint Online. The existing SharePoint model could not absorb that volume, and much of the content carried no usable metadata. As a CPA firm, the client also needed strict per-client isolation and an audit trail on every document.
