MICROSOFT ECIF-SPONSORED ENGAGEMENTS

De-risk your Microsoft roadmap with a focused pilot.

Wai helps customers identify, scope, and deliver focused Microsoft cloud pilots that may qualify for sponsorship through Microsoft End Customer Investment Funds. The objective is to validate business value, technical feasibility, adoption potential, and the path to production before committing to a larger transformation.

Microsoft determines opportunity eligibility, customer qualification, funding availability, approved scope, and final sponsorship. Wai cannot guarantee approval or funding.

PILOT-FIT EXPLORER

A few questions to shape the conversation.

This explorer never determines eligibility. It helps frame a discussion with Wai and, where appropriate, your Microsoft account team.

QUESTION 1 OF 80%

Which Microsoft workload is involved?

ECIF FAQ

Common questions, answered plainly.

Is ECIF funding guaranteed?

No. Microsoft determines eligibility, nomination, available funding, approved scope, and final approval for each opportunity.

Can a customer apply directly through the Wai website?

No. The website begins a pilot-fit discussion. ECIF opportunities are coordinated with the relevant Microsoft field or account team.

Does ECIF always make a project free?

No. Approved sponsorship may relate only to defined partner-delivered activities within the approved Statement of Work. Cloud consumption, licences, travel, customer resources, and work outside the approved scope may remain the customer's responsibility.

What does Wai do?

Wai helps clarify the opportunity, define the pilot, prepare the technical scope, coordinate with Microsoft stakeholders, deliver the approved engagement, and create the production roadmap.

What information is needed?

The business problem, Microsoft workload, target users, expected cloud adoption, executive sponsor, success criteria, approximate timeline, and intended production path.

How quickly can work begin?

Timing depends on opportunity readiness, Microsoft review, available funding, contracting, and approval. No fixed approval time is promised.
